Participation bursaries

Introduction

We are delighted to announce the introduction of our new participation bursaries for TLJ 3.0. This year, prospective candidates will be able to apply for 1 of the 10 available bursaries, which will grant recipients free admission to the ESOT TLJ 3.0 consensus conference in Prague, 13-15 November, 2022. Terms and conditions apply.

Who is eligible to apply?

Young European transplant professionals in the early stages of their careers are strongly encouraged to apply for a bursary.

All applicants must fall under one of the following three categories:

    1. Junior permanent members of staff
    2. Non-permanent staff trainees
    3. Individuals who are within 5 years of appointment for permanent staff

Applicants must also have an active ESOT membership at both the time of application and during their participation at the event.

How to apply?

Applicants are able to apply for 1 of 10 available bursaries. Each covers the registration fee to attend the TLJ 3.0 consensus conference in person, in Prague, 13-15 November 2022.

Bursaries are offered on a first-come-first-served basis and applications must be submitted by the deadline of 31 July, 2022 to be eligible for a bursary.

Applicants will be notified on the success of their application within the first two weeks of September.

For trainees, please attach enrolment status or a letter from a senior supervisor confirming status; for other applicants: please include a licence or a letter confirming status.

Terms and conditions

10 bursaries, each possessing the value of 100.00 Euros, will be available to support eligible young transplant professionals to attend TLJ 3.0 in Prague, in person.

Young European transplant professionals in the early stages of their career who belong to the following categories are eligible to apply:

  1. Junior permanent members of staff
  2. Non-permanent staff trainees
  3. Individuals who are within 5 years of appointment for permanent staff

Conditions

    • Applicants must be in the early stages of their careers.
    • Applicants must be involved in any area of the transplant field
    • Applicants must be part of the following categories: junior permanent members of staff, non-permanent staff trainees and people who are within 5 years of appointment for permanent staff
    • No age limit
    • Applicants must reside/work in Europe (Europe is defined as all countries that are members of the Council of Europe).
    • Applicants must be ESOT members in good standing at the time of application.

Notification

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in the first two weeks of September.

Follow up

The bursary is conditional on successful applicants registering and attending TLJ 3.0 in person, in Prague between 13-15 November, 2022.

Successful applicants will receive full reimbursement within 4 weeks of providing a receipt of registration.

Receipts of registration will be issued to all attendees upon the conclusion of TLJ 3.0.
